Masquerade.
We are many, who in lively and heated discussions strive to reveal the Trump regime of its true brown color. This is very important. Nevertheless, in doing this, most discussions focus on Trump´s constant “distractions”, supposedly meant to draw attention away from the matter, whether it concerns the releasing of files, or crimes already committed by Trump. All this is done as if these matters really, really matter.
Sure, they matter, but behind one distraction though, there are layers of others, as in a Russian Babushka, and far behind those distractions lie the authors of the project 2025.
When the distractions themselves are distractions, in order not to swallow the bait, perhaps the resistance must resist resisting. The more resistance, the more innocent and naive, and the more they will get despised by the fascists, because fascists is what they are. The more resistance against their distractions, the more these people will feel safe in the background, and the larger the free void for them to act within.
Those behind Trump wish to act unattended. His simple job is to be obvious. The more he is failing to be subtle, those behind him are happy, since he is drawing attention away from them.
Those journalists and those in the opposition, that attempt to expose Trump as a criminal, are part of the scheme, since Trump himself is a bait. He is there to draw attention from the real matter, which is that 91% of all Americans have been showed negative to the project 2025. No one standing behind Trump minds the scandals around him. Quite the opposite.
The authors of project 2025 are a cemented part of the government, and are representing large private economic interests without hiding in the shadows. ICE´s paramilitary bullies have to cover their faces to execute their tasks, but the Heritage Foundation and the members of the Republican government need not. They can act without blush on their cheeks, because no one is looking their way.
There are government officials now being interrogated in the senate hearings. This is not because of some misconduct, mishap, or a mis-judgement made. They are there because everything is running as planned.
Within their fields, the officials are mostly not professionals, or experienced. Then again, they are not chosen in spite of their incompetence, but because of it. It is also in these embarrassing moments of the hearings, that their special qualities are being revealed. Make no mistake, indeed they are professionals.
On the faces of those being interrogated, there is nothing that could reveal a sincere emotion of guilt, or shame. That is because everything is in order. They are doing their jobs. Having their faces being streamed to millions of people in an embarrassing moment, does not move them. They are enduring the camera close ups. They know what they are doing, and as they are good at it, they are being rewarded. They feel safe.
In a hearing in a future equivalent of the Nuremberg trials, they would claim they just did their job, or that they were afraid, or did not know the consequences of their actions. They have not been the conductors of the scheme, just the passive watchers of what took place. They did not have the full picture.
This is partly true. They do not know how cynically they are being used by those pushing them to the front, do not know how they are being despised by them, do not know what kind of low life they are to them, and how they actually are being sacrificed and thrown to the sharks, should it all get out of hands.
Those pulling the strings have freed themselves from responsibility. That is why they do not stand in the front line. That is why they are acting from behind. That is why they do not need to wear any masks.
